Wind
The Playful Breeze. Quick, irrepressible, and impossible to pin down — he turns every rehearsal into laughter and every stage into a dance of wind and string.
Who He Is
Playful, quick, and irrepressible, Makani is the breeze that carries the melody. He turns every rehearsal into laughter and every stage into a dance of wind and string. Where Kaimana gathers the voices, Makani lifts them.
His name means wind, and he lives it — restless, joyful, threading through the spaces between notes, between people, between the ocean's call and the land's reply.
The Instruments
On the guitar, Makani is the playful breeze that carries the melody — light, swift, and full of unexpected turns. On the ʻōʻhe hano ihu, the nose flute, he becomes the wind itself: ancient, airy, and unexpectedly soulful.
His quick rhythms give Kai Mana its lift. He does not anchor the song; he animates it, scattering notes like ironwood leaves on the trade winds.
Voice of the Wind
"A blossom's sigh, a fragrant breeze, Lehua danced with Makani's glee — through emerald leaves and swaying trees, a sweet, wild harmony. The wind, it carried, soft and free, the land's most tender sound."
Featured Album
Lighthearted, playful sunlit island pop. Makani is the playful breeze that carries the melody — guitar, ʻōʻhe hano ihu, and quick rhythms. He gives Kai Mana its lift, its laughter, and its unexpected turns.

The Wind That Dances Between
Drawn by Kaimana's call came Makani, the playful wind. Where the ocean sings and the land answers, the wind dances between them — carrying the story farther than any voice alone. Worries scatter like ironwood leaves. Laughter becomes medicine.
